Who We Work With
Depaul Ireland is committed to working with the most marginalised in society. The backgrounds of the people we work with are very different; some have been homeless since birth, while others are faced with challlenges including mental health illness, addiction, domestic violence, family breakdown, unemployment, or unexpected crisis.
Helping our service users to move out of homelessness is about much more than just giving them a new home. We work with people who have complex needs, of which homelessness is only a part. In response, we maintain a flexible, one-to-one approach in helping them to meet these needs. We are always open to finding new ways to work with people and work at their pace. Our services give them a safe place to call home for however long they need and provide them with the information and support to make postive, informed choices about their future.
We work in partnership with other organisations, housing agencies, local authorities and community groups to provide the most comprehensive care to our service users.
