Pastoral Care
Depaul Ireland takes a holistic approach to each individual that we work with and attempts to ensure that the emotional, as well, as the practical needs of our service users are met. Pastoral Care support is non-judgmental and welcoming of all faith backgrounds and is available to all service users in Depaul Ireland who wish to avail of it. The team offers their time to service users through befriending, hospital visits, reflection services and during difficult times including bereavements. It is for this reason that the pastoral care team plays a key role within Depaul Ireland.
Currently the Pastoral Care Team is headed up by dedicated volunteers who are Daughters of Charity. There are also a number of religious and lay people who contribute to the pastoral care work in voluntary and student placement roles.
More information on how you can get involved is available on the Volunteer and Student Placement sections of the website.
