Christmas in Depaul
This Christmas, our accommodation services will be home to 369 people and our outreach services will work with over 60 people. Our staff and volunteers will continue to support each of them to look after their mental health, address alcohol and drug use issues, reconnect with family members and ward of the isolation and loneliness of the wintertime. ![]()
Amidst all of the practical support, staff and volunteer teams also do what they can to spread the Christmas cheer. Our pastoral care team and volunteers are bringing Christmas carol evenings with school choirs, professional musicians and festive fun to the services. Volunteers are encouraging service users to get creative and make cards, decorations and even funky Christmas Jumpers. Depaul Ireland reaches out to people who are disadvantaged, experiencing homelessness and who have often been turned away. By providing them with safe places to live, developing their self-respect and opening up new opportunities, Depaul supports them to grow as individuals and to establish positive links with their local community.
To support our work this Christmas consider giving a once-off or regular monthly gift to Depaul Ireland-- your generosity will last far beyond Christmas time and will impact the lives of people experiencing homelessness. Your gift will allow us to continue to provide professional and innovative services to meet their multifaceted needs and make steps toward change in their lives.
Give the gift of warmth, comfort and security this Christmas.
